Cocktail Cupcakes From Lola’s

Lolas CupcakeLola’s sugary treats now come with added booze as the London cake company launch a selection of cocktail cupcakes.

Every hour is happy hour with Lola’s cupcakes this season, as everyone’s favourite sweet treats have been given a grownup twist. Not only do they have the perfect crumb and creamy top, they’re packing a punch too with infusions of some of our favourite tipples.

Every hour is Pimm’s o’clock in our books so why not indulge in Lola’s Pimm’s flavoured cupcake? With a handmade vanilla and stem ginger base, apple and raspberry purée injection, Pimm’s cream cheese icing and a topping fresh fruit and mint, this is literally the cupcake equivalent to a glass of Pimm’s.

If you’re more of a mojito kind of girl, Lola’s lime, coconut and mint cupcake is sure to tickle your taste buds, whilst the retro favourite, Pina Colada will have you whisked away to a Club Tropicana. Hand finished with chunks of fresh pineapple and coconut flakes, cupcakes don’t come much more exotic than this.

And for any teetotallers our there, Lola’s have just launched a range cupcakes inspired by the flavours of the Middle East too–think rich Baklava, sweet walnut and creamy pistachio.

The Baklava cupcake is our current favourite thanks to its sweet almond base, honey centre and honey cream cheese icing.

If you thought cupcakes were all red velvet, vanilla and double chocolate, you were wrong. Bottoms up.

Lola’s Cocktail Cupcakes and Middle Eastern range are available to buy in store and online. Cupcakes are priced at £3.25 each and £15.60 for a box of regular half dozen.
