Mary Katrantzou Teams Up With Rodial

Rodial and Mary Katrantzou CandleLondon Fashion Week designer Mary Katrantzou teams up with beauty brand, Rodial to launch an exclusive scented candle this season.

Two of our favourite brands, one from the world of beauty, the other from the world of fashion have joined forces this season for an exclusive collaboration.

Scientific skincare brand, Rodial have enlisted the help of Queen of Prints, Katrantzou to design a limited edition scented candle. Inspired by the designer’s Nature Vs Nurture AW13 collection, the candle comes beautifully packaged in the vibrant Babelle print and is sure to brighten up the dullest of dressing tables or tired coffee tables.

The scent is as vibrant as the prints, with top notes of zesty orange and lemon on a floral and fruity base, which merges sweet pineapple with fresh orange blossom. A must-buy for any discerning Mary Katrantzou fan, this would make the perfect gift or personal treat for a fraction of the designer’s usual price tag.

This pretty candle is a departure from Rodial’s usual scientific approach to beauty, whose cult products include the likes of celeb –favourite, Bee Venon Serum and the natural looking, Brazilian Tan.

Mary, a clear fan of the brand herself, says of the partnership, “I’m thrilled to have collaborated with Rodial on this beautiful candle. Rodial is the ultimate iconic beauty brand and this candle will be perfect for beauty fanatics and fashionistas everywhere”.

This beauty launch follows on from some of Mary’s other hugely successful partnerships, from her Topshop diffusion line to the Current/Elliott denim collection. By the looks and scents of the candle, we’re hoping there’s many more to come.

The Mary Katrantzou for Rodial scented candle will be available from September 2013, exclusively launching in Space NK stores and online, before launching in Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. Priced at £35.
