From Saturday 28 July to Sunday 12 August, the Royal Opera House tells the story of the Olympic games. From the history of ancient triumphs and modern day successes, the exhibition illustrates artefacts, graphics, film and audio from the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

The Tate Britain are exhibiting twelve screen prints and lithographs in celebration for the 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games. Commissioned by artists Fiona Banner, Michael Craig-Martin, Martin Creed, Tracey Emin, Anthea Hamilton, Howard, Hodgkin, Gary Hume, Sarah Morris, Chris Ofili, Bridget Riley, Bob and Roberta Smith and Rachel Whiteread.
