Edible Cinema

Edible CinemaThe Edible Cinema at the Aubin has teamed up with Bombay Sapphire to bring you a three-dimensional movie experience.

Whether you are a movie buff, foodie or both there is no denying that the Edible Cinema is undoubtedly an experience which will send your senses rocketing.

The Heston Blumenthal of cinema, the Edible Cinema brings imagination, animation and bite size fun and makes a normal cinema experience seem so very “last season”.

With a variety of flicks to choose from, the Edible Cinema brings you a full sensory experience in collaboration with experimental food designers Blanch and Shock and Bombay Sapphire mixologist Sam Carter.

For a unique movie experience, the Edible Cinema offers a sensory experience through taste to enhance the experience of the film throughout the movie’s most legendary moments.

On arrival, guests will receive a selection of numbered boxes which you will be instructed to open and enjoy at certain intervals throughout the film. Correlating to the action on screen, the symbiotic relationship between taste and cinema offers a truly sensory movie experience, which beats any box of popcorn and jellied sweet.

For those viewing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the evening will commence with a tipple of Bombay Sapphire Clementine G&Tea, paralleling the scene where Clementine (Kate Winslet) adds a dash of Bombay Sapphire to her cup of tea.

From cult classics such as Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well as Perfume, Labyrinth and Die Hard, guests can enjoy a range of varying genre of film. Located at East London’s Shoreditch House Aubin Cinema and Soho House Notting Hill’s Electric Cinema, the luxury cinema experience allows guests to sit back whilst enjoying the film in plush armchair seats or deluxe sofas.

An unforgettable experience, the Edible Cinema combines taste with film for a magical experience which makes you feel part of the action.
