This Christmas, luxury London department store Harrods will launch a Disney pop-up store in the heart of Harrods’ toy department.
Kicking off from 15 October, London’s finest department store Harrods will play host to a pop-up store just for the kids this winter, as the Disney Boutique launches.
Running right through the Christmas season until the New Year, the Disney pop-up will cover an impressive 7,000 square foot area of Harrods’ Fourth Floor. The pop-up has a host of exciting product launches and events happening throughout the three months and is sure to be a must-visit for little Disney fans.
Little girls can become real life Disney princesses in the Princess Parlour dress-up area where they’ll find outfits from all 10 official Disney princesses. Make sure you book in for a photo op so your little princess can take away a professional photo of her dressed-up against an iconic Disney background. Whether she’s always dreamed of being Belle or Snow White, Harrods can make that all the little bit more real.
Ultimate Disney princess, Cinderella will be a main attraction at the Harrods pop-up as the store celebrates the launch of the classic masterpiece in high definition film.
To get the full Cinderella experience little girls can visit the pop-up’s Cinderella Slipper Salon where they can try on and purchase a limited edition pair of glitter-embellished glass slippers. Priced at £24.95 – £34.95, they’re the ultimate dressing-up box accessory to reenact the classic fairytale.
The Disney Boutique will also play home to an interactive area where the whole family can sit back, relax and experience some of Disney’s most iconic clips. So whether you’re a Mickey fan or mad about The Lion King, there’s something for everyone.
From November, Harrods will also be unveiling an impressive window display honouring the famous Disney princesses. Some of fashion’s biggest names from Valentino to Osca de la Renta, Versace to Elie Saab have designed a unique dress inspired by some of Disney’s leading ladies. Our favourite has to be Valentino’s take on Beauty and the Beast’s Belle.
The Disney Boutique pop-up will also house a wealth of merchandise and clothing, so if you’re in the area pop in with your little ones for a special seasonal treat.
The Disney Boutique opens from 15 October 2012 to January 2013 at Fourth Floor Harrods London.
