Located in London’s most prestigious department store, the holy grail of fashion, Harrods in Knightsbridge. As StyleNest approach the majestic glossy doors and weave our way through the crowds, StyleNest desperately attempt not to get distracted by the food hall, followed by the beauty counter and the fragrant aromas of the perfume hall. Once at the lift, we rocket up to the top floor where we arrive at Harrod’s Urban Retreat and the hustle and bustle has calmed. StyleNest make our way over to the Check In desk and after being directed to the waiting area we are greeted by our therapist.
Once in the treatment room, the therapist explains the treatment and StyleNest quickly undressed lying facedown on the bed which is covered with the wrap. The luxe treatment begins with a Meder Peel Massage using the Russian Voyage Body Potion which exfoliates, stimulates and energizes the skin, hydrating the skin with moisture whilst helping to enhance skin tone. The blend of gold and black caviar extract combined with Shea butter and sugar cane distribute amino acids, vitamins and minerals into the skin. After, the therapist uses a hot washcloth to clean off the exfoliant and we are wrapped up in an Aqua Capsule wrap, a heated glycerine gel containing microcapsules that saturate the skin. Micronised pearls, caviar and champagne form the base of the capsule. Whilst we let the wrap work its magic, heating up and restoring skin tone as well as stimulating the process of repair and elasticity. The process is then repeated on your back. Once tightly cocooned, the therapist gives a soothing head and neck massage and after awakening from our brief slumber we are unwrapped and directed to the shower cubicle.
