World-renowned makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury puts her skills and years of industry knowledge into creating her first eponymous makeup collection.
Charlotte Tilbury is one of the world’s most influential and in demand makeup artists. She’s worked on the faces of just about everyone from Kate Moss to Penelope Cruz, and is held responsible for the makeup looks of an endless list of catwalk shows including Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Burberry.
This autumn Charlotte’s 20 year’s worth of insider secrets are out, as the British makeup artist launches her first own brand makeup line. Simply named, Charlotte Tilbury, the collection comprises “easy to choose, easy to use and irresistible” products; from the perfect colour matching foundation to the most lip lustre of lipsticks.
As a whole the collection offers everyday essentials, right through to products that’ll give you a more dramatic look come evening. Beautifully packaged with luxe rose gold detailing, Tilbury’s range will look just as good on you as it will your dressing table or in your makeup bag.
The collection works through all elements of your cosmetics regime from start to finish. Tilbury has drawn on her wealth of beauty knowledge and devised a five step plan, which offers women a fuss-free, realistic approach to their morning makeover.
Starting with Prep and possibly the most wonder of Tilbury’s products are the Take It All Off, £24 eye makeup remover, which will remove even the most stubbon mascara, and the Multi Miracale Glow Cleanser, £45. This breakthrough balm is not only a cleanser, but can be used as a balm and a mask too.
The collection moves through to Prim, and on to Perfect & Conceal. In this third step you’ll find Tilbury’s products for mastering the perfect base. From the Light Wonder Foundation, £32 to the tool to blend it with, the Foundation Brush, £30, if you’ve ever noticed how dewy and fresh Charlotte’s skin is, here’s her secret.
Tilbury then moves the collection through to what she calls the Facial Framework. Whether it’s a beach-bronzed glow you’re after, or you’re inspired by Charlotte’s own signature smoky eye, this stage will show you how to get it.
And the fifth and final stage is Colour. The Cheek to Chic Blusher, £30 will perk up dull, tired skin into a youthful, pretty glow thanks to it’s unique two-step application. Whilst the Lip Lustre Lip Lacuqer, £16.50 comes in 10 shades taking you from the everyday to something more glam.
