Step 1. Part Hair
Begin by parting your hair into two even sections and start the braid from the top of the ear of the desired side of your head.
Step 2. 1cm Strand
Take approximately 1cm strand of hair (from underneath so that it wraps around the entire section) from one section and bring it over to the other side. Ensure that your strands of hair aren’t too large to achieve the desired look.
Step 3. Repeat
Complete this action with the other section and repeat steps 2 & 3 until the braid is finished.
Step 4. Tug
Lightly tug the edges of the braid to widen it. Loosen hair where need be for a more casual look and then secure with a neutral hair band.
Step 5. Flower Crown
For an optional hippy chic look, finally place your flower crown on your head securing with grips where necessary. Gently mist with a spritzing of hair spray to keep in place.
