Concoction

ConcoctionMix it up this summer with the revolutionary hair care brand, Concoction.

Hitting stands in Selfridges this July, Concoction brings professional hair care tailored to your hair type.

Hair care where you call the shots, Concoction is inspired by the art and science of cocktails.

A beauty playground, Concoction is where art and science meet, bringing you bespoke hair care, completely customised to your hair type, needs and colour.

So here’s how it works, choose between four fragrances for your Base Blend including bakhour, Black pepper and citrus, lemon and verbena and rosemary and mint as well as crème de concoction for conditioner. Then, select your Super Serum Shot for a concentrated blend of natural extract, vitamins and scientific actives. Select two out of eight Superserums to target your hair concerns including Back to your Roots, Beautiful Brunette, Curl Me Up, Gimme More Moisture, High Definition Blonde, Ravishing Red, Thermo-Straight and Turn up the Volume.

Now here’s for the serious part – the mixing. After you have snapped off the cap and added your shot, you mix and shake your concoction, just like you would a cocktail, for your tailor made ShampYou.

With 256 individual blend combinations, the choices are limitless, ensuring your hair is never left dry, limp or lacking lustre. Man behind the mix is Alex Epstein, spent two years perfecting the concept, aiming to give women a bespoke and fun hair care experience with effective results. Shortly following, Millie Kendall (co-creator of Ruby and Millie and BeautyMART) and Will King (Founder and CEO of King of Shaves) joined forces to help bring Concoction to the market.

With Concoction mixologists on hand, you can get expert knowledge and advice on what shot best to add.

Concoction launches exclusively at Selfridges on 25 July 2013 for two weeks and will be sold via www.concoction.co.uk as well as Selfridges online.
