Charles Worthington Bob Tips

Fluro Bob Hair TrendFollow suit from the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Claire Danes and get the AW13 chop, starting the New Year with a new you.

Chop those locks this season and rid of any unwanted split ends for healthier and happier hair that not only looks good but feels great. StyleNest talks to Art Team Director from Charles Worthington, Marc Trinder to find all about the latest bob styles and how best to create them.

The Jennifer Aniston

Take a leaf out of the A-lister’s book, Jennifer Aniston, who took a photo from someone she saw on TV and showed it to her stylist to create her new look.

The super soft jaw line bob works extremely well with her face shape as it is quite square. The soft edges and slightly longer length at the front completely soften her face shape, providing an oval face shape illusion.

To achieve this look, the hair needs to layered in a subtle way which can be done by layering the hair underneath, the same technique used to create the Fluro bob haircut from the NEON Collection. The hair falls naturally with movement, whilst still looking thick and lustrous.

Keeping the overall length shorter at the back will maintain a beautiful shape as the hair grows out and also offers a fuss free, low maintenance cut. Regular trims are essential for keeping the textured ends in tip top condition.

Shard Bob Hair TrendThe Jennifer Lawrence

A dramatic and brave haircut from Jennifer Lawrence, this stylish and low maintenance bob helps to open up Jennifer’s face shape, revealing those piercing eyes.

Jennifer admitted to cutting off her locks in attempt to salvage her hair from constant hair colouring, and sometimes a dramatic chop is the only way forward. With this hairstyle it has certainly paid off.

In a similar technique to the Shard haircut from the latest NEON collection, this disconnected style allows the hair to freely move and can be worn in a variety of ways – something a short haircut should offer. It is much more interesting than having a style, which can only work in the one way it has been cut.  y taking away large panels of weight from underneath, the internal layers move, allowing this to happen.
