Forget what you think or know about supermarket cosmetics, as brand new Boutique makeup collection launches exclusively at Sainsbury’s this September.
Come September 2013, your weekly supermarket is set to get a whole lot more exciting, as Sainsbury’s exclusively launch new makeup range, Boutique.
After years in development backed by a team of industry experts, the Boutique range is set to hit the supermarket’s shelves, stocking everyday makeup must-haves from nail polishes to lipsticks, eye shadows to accessories.
Sainsbury’s has enlisted the help of established British makeup artists Sophia Price and Jo Saville to produce the range. Essentially what Sophie and Jo wanted to achieve with the brand, was what women look to achieve day in day out with their makeup – easy-to-use, long-lasting and quality pigmentation makeup.
The range does just that, all at incredibly affordable price points. With nail polishes priced at just £5; whether you’re after a classic deep red for every day, or a vampish midnight blue come evening, you can do so on a budget.
Lipsticks are priced at £7 and lip glosses at just £6. With a range of shades from colour popping Rest On Your Corals to the more subdued, In The Buff, the names are as quirky and varied and the products.
Boutique’s eyeshadows come in single shades at an incredible £4 a pop. Easy to use, they glide on and the colour in the palettes is the colour it appears on your lid – much like a luxury product would do.
And the proof is in the pudding, as before Boutique has hit stores, the team behind it have extensively trialled and tested each and every product with industry makeup artists. In fact, blind testing was carried out by 58 industry professionals, with over 90% coming back saying they’d happily use the products in their professional kits.
So next time you’re in Sainsbury’s take a detour down the cosmetics aisle, and we’re sure you’ll agree.
Boutique launches at larger Sainsbury’s stores nationwide from September 2013. Prices start from £4.
