Mother’s Day Ruin at The Forge

The Foundry CamdenIf breakfast in bed and afternoon tea aren’t her thing, celebrate Mother’s Day with some good old fashioned mother’s ruin at The Forge’s Gin Making Workshop.

The Forge in London’s trendy Camden is a hub for live music, art and entertainment and this Mothers’ Day (Sunday 18th March) the London venue is turning the traditional Mothering Sunday on its head with a very cool Gin Making Workshop. Presented by expert of all things gin and The Sacred Spirits Company co-founder Ian Hart, the workshop will teach you all about strong stuff, as well as give you the chance to mix your own martinis and G&Ts in a DIY blending session.

With 11 different botanicals to sample and mix you might want to line the stomach beforehand so it’s just as well The Forge’s restaurant, The Foundry do a good old fashioned roast every Sunday too. During the morning of Mothering Sunday, The Forge are also putting on a concert with music from Akiko Ono & Alexis White – so you can make a real day of it.

Leave the kids with dad this Mother’s Day and get you and your mum down to The Forge for few cocktails, some lunch and some quality mother and daughter time.
