StyleNest paid a visit to the Paul Edmonds salon for a manicure with Essie’s AW13 Colours.
There’s a strange feeling of being at home as soon as one walks through the Paul Edmonds salon. Perhaps it’s because it’s located in a gorgeous Georgian town house or perhaps it’s due to the general joviality that parades the room amongst stylists and customers alike. The man himself is in a great mood, and is more than welcoming once we entered the prestigious beauty parlour.
After a quick show around the beauty house – it has been updated as of late; the beauty stations that used to sit on the opposite side of the Brompton road now sits in the extension of the salon, so clients can now have all their beauty needs attended to and fulfilled under one roof.
Choosing the nail colour proved a little more difficult than we thought. With so many flattering colours to choose from we finally decided on the Twin Sweater Set, a vibrant crimson red that adds a pop of colour to any outfit whilst remaining seductive, alluring and ultra feminine. A must for any AW13 wardrobe we found that this cunningly deep red polish went perfectly with our AW13 wardrobe palette. Which shouldn’t be surprising as the Essie AW13 nail colour collection goes hand in hand with this season’s trends.
Every woman knows that the best thing about having a manicure is being able to have a little natter with the beauty therapists. Paul Edmonds did not disappoint on this front. Friendly and warm, and talented at what they do the manicurists were a joy to be around and more importantly delivered results; perfect autumn red nails.
The luxe nail area in general is tailored for the modern business woman on-the-go. Sleek screens are elegantly hung on the wall displaying music and news clips allowing you to be pleasantly distracted from the manicure treatments. There is also wi-fi available throughout the salon so checking emails will never be a problem here.
A true house of beauty, the quality in deliverance and the holistic approach of the salon is only highlighted by the number of A-lister attendees, including the likes of Emma Thompson, Jon Hamm, Dominic West, Dame Helen Mirren and Christina Hendricks to name but a few.
Paul Edmonds still remains the salon that you can count on to offer results, an ambient atmosphere and an overall wonderful experience. And like many of its A-lister clients, we’d certainly go again.
