Vale do Lobo
This beautiful region in the Algarve is a little different from the other city breaks listed. It is a luxurious option filled with tall palm trees, a warm climate and clear swimming pools. It may not be a city – technically, but it has more culture and life to it than most places. Only 20 minutes from Faro airport, it won’t be long before you’re off the plane and sunbathing in this glimpse of paradise. There is plenty to do here including beaches, a golf resort, restaurant, bars, spas, gyms and tennis facilities. To discover more about this stunning destination, click here.

Take a walk through both the medieval Old Town right up to the more modern Georgian styled New Town as you experience the city’s history and culture around every corner. There are some great sights to be seen here, including the Edinburgh Castle and the extinct volcano situated in Holyrood Park.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam is full of artistic heritage. Packed with narrow houses and cobble stoned paths, walking around in this stunning city will be quite an experience. It has a total of 400km of cycle paths because it is somewhat of a biker’s city. According to Trip Advisor, the main attractions of the city include the Red Light District, the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum.

New York
Visit the ‘Big Apple’ on your next break away and witness all the wonders of this famous city. It has many popular attractions such as the Statue of Liberty, Times Square and the Empire State Building. Tall buildings seem to be everywhere in New York and according to Vanity Fair, skyscrapers in this city are breaking records with the 96th floor of 432 Park Avenue achieving the No.1 ranking as the highest residence in the Western world as its ‘shadows creep across Central Park’.
