The Four Seasons Hampshire

Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire ExteriorJust an hour away from London, in the small village of Dogmersfield, lies the Four Seasons Hampshire, a stunning Georgian country-house hotel set within 500 acres of picturesque countryside.

The Four Seasons pride themselves on sleek design and service of the highest standard, and their luxury spa hotel in the countryside is no different.  A deluxe five-star getaway for all the family.

Warm and welcoming staff decked out in their finest English tweeds are waiting to greet you upon arrival and escort you into the grand manor house. On entering, the log fires and mahogany panelling instantly make you feel as if you’ve been transported back to another era.

Family Friendly is most certainly the moto here. Kids are catered for on every level from babysitting services to outings and horse riding. During quieter months there are also many bargains for families to snap up.

Clay pigeon shooting, canoeing, fishing, cycling, horse riding, and tennis are all on offer and as always with The Four Seasons, the five-star rating lies in the extra services – if you don’t have a tennis partner, for instance, a staff member will play with you.

However, if you’re after a little ‘me time’, The Fours Seasons’ Spa is a place of tranquility that will leave you feeling revived and rejuvenated. We can highly recommend the range of Ayurvedic treatments for the ultimate pampering experience. With treatment rooms, relaxation rooms, a 50-metre pool and steam rooms, you could happily pass the whole day there.

Alternatively, you can sit back and relax with the papers in the library, where a traditional afternoon tea is served.

The hotel has two restaurants – the more formal Seasons and the less formal Bistro – both serving produce sourced either from the grounds or a nearby farm. The Bistro is more suited to all the family.  And on Sunday, a fabulous farmers market buffet is served, including succulent roasts. The perfect way to finish your weekend.

So if you’re after a luxurious weekend retreat for all the family look no further.
