No.10 Manchester Street

Nestled behind leafy Manchester Square, a stone’s throw from Marylebone and The Wallace Collection, lies the little gem of a hotel that is No.10 Manchester Street. A former Georgian townhouse, this hotel manages to combine old school charm with boutique style,  modern amenities. It is, arguably situated in one of the best locations in London. But whilst it is close enough to the hustle and bustle, it definitely feels like a break from it.

Check in was prompt and friendly and I must add that the hotel staff went to huge lengths to track down an I phone charger for me after I stupidly forgot mine. My room was spacious yet cosy, with neutral décor and an en-suite shower room complete with Malin & Goetz toiletries.

I ordered room service as it had been a very long day and I really just wanted to hunker down for the night. I had a craving for some carbs,  more specifically, some pasta and the resident chef made me a special vegetarian pasta dish, even though there wasn’t one on the menu,  it is clear the level of 1:1 service here really is first class and if you are like me, vegetarian or vegan, the chef will accommodate a request for any dietary requirements.

After a comfortable nights sleep I woke to a continental Style breakfast and coffee to set me up for the day and it was back off into the big smoke I went.

Rooms start from £235
