The Clean Program, designed by cardiologist Dr Alejandro Junger is a 21 day detox. Gwyneth Paltrow and Demi Moore are amongst a host of Hollywood stars who swear by the program.

Dr Junger developed the detox in order to treat chronic symptoms such as allergies, headaches, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, fatigue, weight gain and insomnia, all of which he believes are a result of a build up of toxins in the body.

The detox is gentle but works at a deep level by removing the toxins, restoring what is lacking and ultimately aims to rejuvenate your life.

The program can be followed very easily at home with food and drinks made from fresh ingredients. Dr Junger recommends that you can continue to exercise but should take things more easily. Yoga, walking, saunas, colonic irrigation, massages and other therapies are all recommended during the 21 days to aid the detoxification process.
