Times: 10.30am – 12.30pm or 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Visit Edinburgh’s Museum of Childhood for a trip down memory lane with the family.  The museum offers families the opportunity to view toys that span from the 18th century to the present day. There will be countless opportunities to see what Mummy and Daddy played with as various aspects of childhood are explored including a retrospective of school days, children’s clothes and youth literature.

At the workshops which take place on Saturday 25 February, budding fashion designers get a chance to design an array of costumes from around the world, gathering inspiration from the museums 2,500+ garments and accessories on display.

After the workshop, why not treat yourself and your future fashionista at one of the many cafés or restaurants located just a stone’s throw away from the museum by the historical Royal Mile.
