How To Make Macarons

Ohlala MartnisHave you ever wanted to learn how to make macarons? Too scared to try at home or just don’t want to make a mess in your own kitchen? OhLaLa Macarons and Martinis is the Uk’s first Macaron and Martini Masterclass where participants will get the opportunity to learn, create and of course take away their creations.

Held by outstanding pâtissiers from the likes of Zuma and Grainger & Co, you along with 15 other guests will get the chance to create your own macarons whilst skilled mixologists from across the London bar scene will help the coaching of the perfect “shaken not stirred” martini. The intimate class with up to 16 guests will be held every Saturday afternoon across luxury London venues and is the ideal girly get together with friends.

Taste the treats as you go along and chase down with a delicious crisp cocktail all whilst learning how to become the Pierre Hermé of your household. OhLaLa Macarons will teach you how to achieve light, fluffly and perfect pillows of macarons in a range of interactive and fun workshops with no fussy ingredients and just simple techniques.

All delicately coloured and intricately sandwiched with ganache, buttercream or jam, macarons are chewy with an almond nuttiness. Crisp and smooth on the outside and soft on the inside, the key ingredients feature egg whites and sugars but without the right consistency, the cracks will show.

The Macaron and Martini Masterclass is priced at £80 per person and is held every Saturday afternoon and lasts for two and half hours. It can be booked online at
