Get in to the spirit of Christmas at the Coppa Club

Igloos at Christmas are as popular as mulled wine, and the Coppa Club in the South Lanes has some seriously festive winter pods complete with hundreds of fairy lights which makes the experience all the more enchanting. I visited on a nippy November evening to experience my first Christmas wreath making class, and although I was just getting over my birthday (the perks of being Sagittarius), I embraced the Christmas spirit- which was helped along nicely with a free glass of fizz on arrival.

Spaces for the class were limited as we needed plenty of room to create our masterpieces, which started with getting handy and squishing our moss for the base. All participants were guided through the demonstration with the local florists from The Brighton Flower Company.

As the wine was flowing, the atmosphere was becoming more festive as other diners were served delicious smelling plates around us, and our wreaths became more authentic. I decided to opt for a classic fern and berry combo, whilst my friend added golden thistle and pine cones. The two hours flew by, and was remarkably satisfying- as I have discovered many crafty things to be, and to top it off, we all left with a professional looking garland for our front doors!

Even if you didn’t stop by for a wreath making session, the Coppa Club welcomes solo guests, meetings or date nights, and has quirky niches, sofas and coffee tables. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Brighton outlet has an exclusive location in Brighton Square, but although it seems exclusive, it is far from stuffy, and you can find a quiet spot to work,

Whether you just need a break from Christmas shopping, or sightseeing, the Coppa Club in Brighton complements the traditional architecture of the British seaside, and it even does a tasty fish n chips!
