After the success of last years performances, Opera Holland Park’s Fantastic Mr Fox is back this summer for children and families in leafy West London. Director Stephen Barlow takes children into the magical journey of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox with a fifty-minute operatic version of this classic Roald Dahl tale.
Set in the scenic gardens of Holland Park, Opera Holland Park is supported by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is open between 7 June until 4 August for 58 days.
This summer will celebrate Opera Holland Park’s 16th season and welcomes the local community as well as tourists visiting the City to join in for an enchanting cultural concert. The distinguished performance set in a relaxed atmosphere makes it a great day out for the whole family, effortless for young children and entertaining for older. Composer Tobias Picker and librettist Donald Sturrock have collectively created the children’s classic story into a performance art piece, which can enjoyed by all.
