Kurt Geiger Launches First Girls Collection

It is never too early in life to start a shoe obsession- well that’s according to the footwear brand Kurt Geiger- who have just launched Mini Miss KG. Since the Sixties the brand has been making covetable footwear and accessories for women and men and now they are turning their attention to the kidswear market.

Mini Miss KG is offering something for every girl- from classic Mary-Jane styles to cool monster sneakers. There are also a number of ‘Mini Me’ versions of the brands women’s collection with statement espadrilles, sandals, ‘Boom’ sliders and sneakers, some of which come customised with the words ‘Wild Child’.

Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley says of the collection ‘Perhaps it’s the kid in me, but I’ve been itching to turn my hand to shoes for littler girls for a while. You wouldn’t believe just how many letters I get from mini miss KGs asking for shoes in their size; and so their wish is my command! We’ve enlisted many of them to design and edit the collection and I have to say these have been my favourite design sessions – who says grown-ups know best…”

Aimed at girls between 4 to 12 years old, we adore the fun, playful, modern designs. Featuring glitter, beads, sequins, and metallic finishes we are sure that little girls will fall in love with them as much as the mums.
