Kit & Kin

Finding natural, eco-friendly yet affordable products for little ones can be a tricky task for parents, which is why we’re pretty excited about the launch of new brand Kit & Kin here at StyleNest.

Co-founded by former Spice Girl and mum-of-two Emma Bunton, Kit & Kin has created a range of bio-degradable nappies as well as certified natural skincare suitable for both mum and baby. All products in the collection use only natural and nourishing ingredients, meaning there are no chemicals or nasties that can irritate sensitive skin.

It’s important to note that this is not your average celebrity-endorsed product range – Emma has teamed up with Christopher Money, Director of Product Development who brings 15 years’ experience of developing mother and baby products for leading brands, and is passionate about providing natural care after struggling to find suitable products for her son’s eczema which weren’t ‘full of chemicals that would further irritate his skin’.

‘As a mother, my children are my number one priority and I do everything I can to ensure they’re always safe, healthy and happy,’ Emma explains.

‘At Kit & Kin, we want to take away the stress and worry parents often experience when trying to choose the best products for their family. That’s why we’ve developed an amazing range you can trust to care and protect for your family as they grow.’

Kit & Kin’s debut collection of premium performance nappies are certainly a promising start. Not only do they provide 12 hours of comfort and dryness but they’re also seriously adorable and feature a variety of cute animal face designs. These nappies promise to be much kinder to the environment than conventional ones and biodegrade within three to six years, compared to the 500 years that conventional ones can take. Bio-degradable nappy sacks are also available.

The brand’s skincare range also provides extra care to protect and soothe delicate skin and includes shampoos, bubble baths and nappy salve for little ones whist there’s stretch mark oil and breast balm available for mum. Mild and kind to skin, the products are free from parabens, SLSs and artificial colours but promise to clean and moisturise deeply. Oh, and they also smell delicious too.

Kit & Kin’s products are affordable and easy to order from their fantastic new website. Convenient bundles are available to purchase and there’s even a cost-saving subscription service which can be tailored to your family needs. The company has also vowed that, for every 10 nappy subscriptions ordered, they will purchase and protect one acre of the rainforest through the World Land Trust, which helps to provide clean air, life saving medicines and safe-havens for wild life. Sounds like a win-win all round to us.

Bio-degradable nappies are £9.99 full price or £7.49 as part of the subscription program with free delivery. Skincare products start from £7.99. Available from kitandkin.com.
