Can’t face braving the cold? Then what better way to spend your bonfire night, than curled up under a blanket with some home-made chocolate fondue, and toasted marshmallows for company.
Serves: 5-6
Cooking time: 10-15mins
What you’ll need:
400g (14 oz) dark chocolate (preferably 70-85% cocoa solids)
85g (6 tbsp) butter
284ml (1 cup) double cream
300ml (1 1/4 cups) milk
One large bag of marshmallows
Wooden skewers
What to do:
1. Place chocolate, butter, cream and milk into a saucepan and heat gently until melted and silky smooth – pour into a bowl.
2. Meanwhile pop the marshmallows onto the skewers, and carefully toast over a small flame.
3. Dip into the chocolate fondue and eat right away.
