Put away the fizzy drinks and fruit juices and treat the kiddies to something a little more special, the slimeade drink. Citrusy lime jelly meets cranberry and raspberry juice culminating in a glass full of tasty slime that unfortunately can’t be gobbled up all at once.
Serves 6
Preparation time: 10 mins
What You’ll Need:
- 135g pack lime jelly
- 1 carton cranberry and raspberry juice drink
- soda water
What To Do:
- Break the jelly into cubes then place half of them in a small bowl and microwave on full power for 1 minute, until dissolved (NB: microwave wattages vary and this time is a guide only). Drizzle the jelly over the rims of 6 tumblers then place the tumblers in the fridge for around 30 minutes to set.
- Meanwhile, dissolve the remaining jelly in the same way then whisk in 300ml cold water. Pour into a shallow bowl and pop in the fridge for around 2 hours until set.
- When you’re ready to serve, tip the jelly out on to a board, chop roughly and divide between the 6 tumblers . Pour 150ml cranberry and raspberry juice into each tumbler and top with soda water to taste.
