Gooey Protein Chocolate Brownie

Protein World Gooey Chocolate BrowniesWho said chocolate treats cant be healthy! Indulge without the guilt with this gooey chocolate brownie recipe packed with whey protein and cocoa. With ingredients like these and such great taste you can almost justify polishing off the whole batch. 

Cooking time: 15-20minutes

What You’ll Need:

  • 1/4 cup Whey Protein Concentrate
  • 1 cup beetroot (cooked)
  • 1/2 cup tinned pitted prunes
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp Stevia
  • 1/4 cup 85% cocoa chocolate (melted)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp natural almond extract

What To Do:

  • Set the oven to 150 degrees and line a small brownie tin with grease proof paper
  • Blend the beetroot and prunes in a blender to form a paste
  • Add the eggs, Setvia, cocoa powder, melted chocolate, almond extract and protein whey to the mixture and blend until smooth
  • Pour the mixture into the baking tin and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until firm to the touch
  • Remove the brownies form the tin, leave to cool and then slice
