Give your gingerbread biscuits a scary skeletal design this Halloween. A great way to get the kids involved, this fun Halloween holiday is activity makes for great party bag gifts.

What You’ll Need:
- 250 g (9oz) plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 85 ml Flora Cuisine
- 85 g (3oz) soft brown sugar
- 85 g (3oz) golden syrup
To decorate
- 100 g (3½oz) white chocolate, melted
- White writing icing (other colours optional)
What To Do:
- Sieve dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix together to form a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 75mm (¼ inch).
- Using cutters, cut into gingerbread people.
- Lift carefully onto lightly greased baking trays.
- Bake in the centre of preheated oven at 210°C, 190°C fan, Gas mark 7 for about 10 minutes. Check that the shapes are not scorching after about 6 minutes. They are ready once lightly golden brown.
- Once completely cool decorate to look like skeletons, using the writing icing to draw on the bones.
