Ingredients:
- 225g Strong white bread flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Golden caster sugar
- 15g Butter, unsalted and melted
- 7g Fast action yeast
- 125ml Warm water
- 1 Egg
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 210g Jar Tracklements Fresh Chilli Jam
- Caster sugar for coating
Method:
- Place all the ingredients except the oil, Fresh Chilli Jam and sugar for coating in a large bowl, mix and knead for 10 mins
- Cut the dough into eight and shape into balls. Leave to prove on a greased tray until doubled in size
- Heat the oil in a pan to a medium heat. Deep fry the doughnuts until golden brown, drain and toss in sugar
- When the doughnuts are cool, place the Fresh Chilli Jam in a piping bag. Make a small hole in the side of each doughnut, fill with the jam
