The burger revolution has just got bigger with the touch down of Shake Shack in London’s Covent Garden.

New York has dropped ship in London and on 5 July, the legendary Shake Shack will open its doors to its first ever UK restaurant, located in the historic Market Building in the bustling Covent Garden Piazza.
Launched in 2004, Shake Shack has been dubbed the modern day American “roadside” burger, offering authentic American food and a fun and animated community.

Situated a stones throw from London’s theatre district, Shake Shack London is situated amongst the Covent Garden market and street performers which so famously attracts tourists and Londoners alike. With outdoor seating and floors made from reclaimed Victorian pine as well as tabletops from reclaimed bowling alley lanes, the London Shake Shack offers a contemporary and classic feel, testament to the historic structure of the Market Building.
The menu will include burgers (of course), with all ingredients sourced from the UK and made from 100% Scottish Aberdeen Angus beef as well as British free-range Wiltshire cure smoked bacon. Choose between a range of shaking burgers or split and griddled crisp hot dogs and a selection of fries to accompany. And they haven’t forgotten about dessert – shakes, cones and cups of frozen custard for the ultimate frozen sweet treat as well as “treats for those with four feet” for your four-legged friend.
