The Ritz Paris’ Bar Hemingway Takes Residency At The Connaught

Connaught BarThe Ritz Paris’ Bar Hemingway takes a week-long residency at The Connaught Bar in Mayfair.

This month, two iconic bars meet to create one fabulous event.

Between 7-13 April 2014, the Ritz Paris’ Bar Hemingway will be popping-up at the luxury Connaught Bar in Mayfair.

Mixologist Colin Field from the Bar Hemingway and Agostino Perrone, director of mixology at The Connaught Bar have joined forces to create a carefully devised cocktail menu, blending their signature styles.

“While the restoration of the Bar Hemingway is being completed, it’s so wonderful to take what we do at the Ritz Paris on tour to another great hotel bar, ‘Jamming’ with Ago has been so creative and fun. We are both inspired by our synergy” – Field.

The menu will feature Field’s famous Serendipity, a blend of mint, apple juice, Calvados and Champagne and the Ritz 75. Alongside Perrone’s tongue tantalising, Fleurissimo featuring a blend of bitters, sugar, Cognac and Champagne and the Connaught’s signature martini mixed with the bar’s selection of homemade bitters.

And it doesn’t stop there; the menu will also feature two new cocktails, created by the cocktail couple and will also be on hand to chat cocktails, creations and The Connaught.

Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Connaught is one of London’s heritage hotels offering traditional English charm served up with a touch of contemporary style. Timeless in its elegance and character, the hotel remains a firm favourite amongst local Londoners and tourists alike.

“It has been a real honour to work with such a legend of the cocktail world. We’ve both brought elements of what we do and fused them together in a completely creative way. The international cocktail scene is more diverse than ever and great hotel bars are at the very heart of it; they set the standards” – Perrone.

The Connaught Bar is open 4pm to 1am Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays.
