Iconic leather goods brand Valextra adds some Italian luxury to Mount Street with the opening of its first London flagship store.
Officially opening back in October the brand entrusted architect Philippe Malouin from POST-OFFICE studio with the design of the new boutique, to offer customers a luxury but contemporary shopping experience in the heart of Mayfair.
With a simple, modern colour palette of soft creams and greys, the store’s interior decoration also shows off perfectly the new SS17 range, a collection of sleek graphic shapes in bold, block colours inspired by designer Ettore Sottsass and artist Alighiero Boetti.
Known for it’s superior quality and traditional handcraft as well as it’s creative design, the Milan-based brand has built up a strong celebrity fan base with Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Michelle and Sasha Obama all carrying Valextra accessories, so if you’re heading to Mayfair with Christmas gift list in hand, who knows who you might see on Mount Street this festive season.
