Iconic British brand Jaeger and Jaeger Boutique launch stunning Spring Summer 2013 collection in store and online.
We’re a sucker for a good leopard print here at StyleNest, so when we discovered Jaeger’s stunning SS13 collection was brimming with it we were more than delighted.
It’s not just animal print that features heavily in the SS13 collection, Jaeger have gone wild for vibrant prints all round, from tropical prints crafted in sumptuous silk to gentlemanly 70s prints stitched up into masculine tailoring.
The latest Spring Summer collection is one of Jaeger’s strongest to date. Staying true to what the brand knows and does best the collection has plenty of pieces perfect for the office or smart after hours events. However, refreshingly, Jaeger’s mainline womenswear collection has a playful edge this season, most notably in the vibrant leopard print pieces.
Oversized and eye catching, Jaeger’s leopard print offers a modern twist on the classic animal print and comes adorned on a duster coat, slim line cigarette pants and a silk tee. Wear together for chic statement dressing, or separately for a more demure look.
Other heros of the Jaeger Collection include a gorgeous off-white patent trench coat that has us willing the April showers to come on, and a simple block striped dress in timeless monochrome that’ll solve all those ‘what to wear to work’ dilemmas.
Over in the Boutique By Jaeger collection (the British brands younger, more playful sister label) expect to see more casual separates perfect for spring weekends and downtime dressing. Favourites include an adorable ladybird print blouse and a blazer and skirt combo that comes in an ornate jacquard blue daisy print. It’s a print that has us dreaming of warm summer days but executed with the British weather in mind, in a slightly thicker, warmer fabric.
Finally, Jaeger’s third collection, Jaeger London finishes off the SS13 style hat trick perfectly. 60s inspired houndstooth cigarette pants are played off against French Riviera style monochrome stripes, whilst varsity jackets are given a heritage twist in British tweed. We also love the variety of prints on show from pocket square-inspired jacquard suits to a tropical twist on paisley in a stunning yellow silk day dress.
Over all, this is one of Jaeger’s best collections to date and we can’t wait for it to work its way into our Spring Summer wardrobes.
