Carl Scarpa Shoes

Recently sent some Carl Scarpa shoes to review, I’ve basically lived in them ever since.

The pair in question being the Primavera Glitter Leather Trainers (£139), these beauties combine both leopard print and sparkle, AKA a total shoe dream. Putting them on for a weekend in Manchester, I wore only those shoes during my three days away and can’t tell you how comfy they are. OK, I can- they are ridiculously comfortable. Also, I may have avoided socks when pairing them with ankle grazers and they didn’t rub at all, which I sometimes do struggle with. Not only that, the Primavera trainers are seriously stylish shoes.

A brand created over 40 years ago, Carl Scarpa sell all kinds of footwear from sandals to boots, heels and flats. Each pair comprising excellent quality Italian leather, they boast classic style with a modern contemporary twist.

Other standout SN favourites include the Ellie slip-on trainers, available in different shades including navy and rose, as well as the Carlotta lace-up trainers and Porsha Leopard Print Distressed Leather trainers. Pair with a dress or crisp white tee and skinnies, and you’re good to go. Primavera will be coming with me on an upcoming holiday and I can see them lasting from season to season effortlessly. The red trim also adds a little extra appeal. Can you tell we love them?

If you fancy getting on board with the chunky trainer trend, there’s a few perfect picks to choose between, including Paloma Rose, Priya Leopard Print and Pepita Gold. Each shoe boasts chic detail, and brilliant quality.

Boot season just around the corner, we’ve got our eye on some knee high and ankle numbers, like the Black Low Heel Chelsea Ankle Boots and Emma Tan Leather Knee Highs, as well as wedge and croc-effect buys too. AW19, here we come.
