After months of neons and statement brights it was a pleasure to see an array of feminine shades hit the catwalks at the spring/summer 12 shows. Vuitton went retro and ladylike with their carousel catwalk showcasing a collection of lemons, pale pinks and mint greens. These sugary shades were also seen at Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, 3.1 Philip Lim and Erdem to name but a few.
This trend is all about mixing up your pastel palette. Team mint green jeans with a lemon blouse and pale pink pumps for a sugary sweet looks or throw in a little print with a ditsy print dress and finish with candy coloured accessories.
However if head-to-toe colour isn’t your thing, mix your pastel hues with white and camel shades.
