MILK might just be the answer to our prayers – or it’s just foiled our excuses of not having enough time for personal grooming.
MILK is a mobile beauty service bringing the salon straight to you, whether that be at home or at the office. Serving London and the M25, MILK has the therapists, products and equipment to re-create the beauty salon at a place of your choice! I love going spas and salons but there has been so many (too many) occasions when I haven’t been able to stick to appointments due to work or mummy commitments. Or there’s the times I can make my appointment but forget my flip-flops to walk home in after a pedicure, or look like I’ve been dipped in treacle after a spray tan and let’s not mention the state of my hair after a facial or massage. Imagine having all your treatments done perfectly with no walk of shame home after!
The one thing I never put time aside for is massage – I am well aware of the benefits of massage but I always feel like it’s an indulgence I haven’t often got the time for, so when I saw the new Coconut Massage on the MILK treatment menu and that they take bookings up to 10pm, how could I resist?
My therapist, Simone, arrived on time, in smart uniform and set up for the treatment very quickly and fuss-free. She started the treatment with oil inhalations (you have a choice of energising or relaxing) and then went straight into the organic coconut oil massage. I thought it would feel a bit odd having a stranger in my house but I relaxed instantly! The massage was great; very relaxing but strong at the same time (you can tell your therapist how deep or light you prefer your massage to be), the oil was beautiful and designed to be left on to give your skin the ultimate moisture boost, but the best part was being able to say goodbye then curl up on the settee after!
With so many treatments on offer, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, tanning and of course massage, all using high quality products by experienced (and more importantly insured) therapists, what’s not to love about MILK?!
