Rouge Volupté Shine is formulated with a revolutionary “back injection” technology, using a unique complex of smoothing ingredients, offering an innovative consistency that instantly melts when contact is made with the lips. Caroline Nègre, Scientific Communication Manager Yves Saint Laurent Beauté explains how this ground-breaking process works “unlike classic lipsticks in which the sticks are fixed in the tubes when cold, this process entails pouring the liquid base into the tubes while they are still hot, literally injecting it from the bottom up. It then solidifies as it cools off. This unique process allows the creamy texture of the new formula, rich in soft waxes, to be shaped as a stick, for a made to measure lipstick that glides on effortlessly and bathes the lips in colour and shine.” Therefore, giving the lips an ultra-shiny protective film with a transparent surface and glossy finish.
