Topshop SS13 Makeup

Makeup Edit VisualTopshop launch new SS13 makeup collection, The Makeup Edit offering a polished look with a pop of colour that can be created with those make-up bag essential must-haves.

The campaign features a dewy complexion with highly pigmented blasts of colour, creating a refined and opulent makeup look with a pure approach.

A modern and contemporary look, Topshop makeup artist, Hannah Murray says, “I’m so excited to have everything in my kit especially the NEW Eye Cream Quad; four muted metallics that will instantly modernise your look for a cool polish. I love to use one colour as a wash over eyelids and underneath lower lashes (use brush to blend and then intensify by patting on extra product with finger). The silver makes a great highlight on inner corner of eye or on centre of lid. Then throw on a lip that pops!”.

The hero of the collection is the new Face Quad in Kick Start with a creamy white, peach, pale bronze and dark bronze. Wear alone or blend together to sculpt and highlight to create definition. Or for this season’s metallic look, the new Eye Cream Quad in Game with metallic silver, metallic gunmetal, antique metallic gold and mushroom metallic offers an ideal opulent look for this season.

For those not daring enough to fly the full neon flag this season, a splash of neon colour on the lips make for a subtle take on this season’s neon accents trend. As seen on the runway of Proenza Schouler, Erderm and Matthew Williamson, for those who are slightly more neon nervous, Topshop’s Lips in Bombshell, a neon pink and Straight Ace, a purple offers long lasting and high pigmented colour. Team with summer prints or match with plain pastels for the ultimate colour popping look.

For those on the go, the new Stick Blush in Sneakpeek offers a subtle sheer wash of colour infused with light diffusing properties to give a luminous finish and subtle glowing complexion. Twist up and twist down, the stick blush doesn’t call for any brushes and can be glided on with one swipe and blended with the touch of your finger tips.

Encased in a clean and transparent gloss with frosted case packaging, the sophisticated packaging allows you to see the product in all its glory. A multifunctional collection which will take you from day to night, the new Makeup Edit offers a range of muted and subtle shades with iridescent finishes combined with bold pops of colour to help define your features and make a striking impact.
