Sleek Makeup Matte Me Lip Cream

Sleek makeup recently added 5 new shades to there already 17 shade Matte Me lip cream range and I am here to spill the T on them, so I suggest you get yourself a cuppa and let’s get into it!

The new shades are very versatile and can be easily worn for whatever type of occasion or just a part of your everyday makeup, of course, this all varies depending on your personality and personal style but there is one or a few for all because of how diverse the shade range of the entire collection has.

Firstly off is the nude shade called “Feels” they described this a pure nude but on my it looks more pinky-peach, personally I wouldn’t wear this shade one it’s own because it’s very light for my skin tone so I would end up looking anaemic (no t no shade) but for y’all out there who have lighter skin tone this will be a good shade for you!  The second shade is “Hellacious”, now this one is right up my ally and living for it.  It’s described as burnt orange and girl burnt orange she better do, this colour is giving me Sahara desert realness vibes because of how it looks against my tanned skin tone.  Hellacious I am here for you!!!  Next up is “STFU” this one is exactly what it says on the tin a classic deep red.  It the type of red that will make you feel sexy and seductive as soon as it’s on your lips, I’m definitely channelling my inner Marilyn with this one.  Time for something a bit more playful with this blue toned magenta “that’s so fetch” it’s giving me “on Wednesdays we wear Blue Toned Magenta” moment and definitely the kind of lippy would wear when your feeling vibrant and colourful and trust and believe I have my vibrant and colourful days so this is perfect!  This lip colour also for some reason gives me that girlfriend vibe like someone who’s approachable but still fiercely fabulous.  The last shade of the bunch is called “Unreal” and Sleek described this a Berry Purple.  Let me tell you something, I am living for this vampy berry shade, it’s giving me Dracula’s Main Chick full-on Queen of the Night realness and I am here for it.  Ready for a night on the town with the girls.

As far as the application goes for the Matte Me it glides on smoothly and when they say 1 coat is enough they ain’t lying (well except for “feels” because I feel like it’s not as opaque as the rest).  My favourite of the bunch is definitely Hellacious and just the love the shade colour on me!  Price point wise it’s definitely affordable coming in at £4.99 a piece and it last available at your local boots so definitely a win-win.  Overall the new shades of Matte Me are great and I’d easily rate them 4 out of 5 stars, there is something for everyone and I personally recommend getting them.

That’s all the T I have to y’all and until next time, remember that Beauty is what you make of it so be your own kind of beautiful!
