SKINWORK PRODUCTS FOR YOUR AT HOME SPA

The brainchild of busy mum, Eilidh Smith, the Skinwork Urban Spa is hidden in Soho, but you don’t have to be based in London to make the most of the delightfully luxurious products as you can create your own bespoke spa menu at home.

With summer on the horizon, I knew I wanted to give my face a spring clean to prepare it for the coming months. I had always been stuck in a rut, using serum for my crinkles and wrinkles and a heavy night time moisturiser, so I was keen to try out Spa facial products for myself.

The gorgeous box of Skinwork products arrived about a month ago, and I have been religiously using them morning and night and can only give a glowing review as my skin has soaked up all the goodness.

Designed for busy people, the brand has honed its ‘City cleanse, clean and contour’ facials in the salon, but with the same products you can decongest, detoxify and deeply cleanse your skin at home. Obviously a professional skincare therapist is a bonus, but if you can’t get yourself to Soho, this is the next best thing.

A DIY facial should not be underestimated. Sure, you may not be able to emulate the perfectly positioned finger strokes of your facialist, but you can put on some relaxing music and potter around in your pj’s and enjoy an indulgent pampering session at a time that is convenient for you.

My skincare journey began with the Treatment cleanse cream cleanser, enriched with Vitamin E, zinc, glycerin, and aloe vera. Its luxuriously thick texture effortlessly banished every trace of impurity and makeup that had been building up since my last deep cleanse, paving the way for the Homework AHA + BHA Exfoliating peel; this tingly face mask penetrated deep into my skin, whisking away and remaining stubborn debris while infusing it with soothing hydration, courtesy of zinc, glycerin, and aloe vera.

Next up was my newfound obsession: the Gua Sha, sculpt roller. Crafted from 100% stainless steel to keep it ice cold, it not only helped to reduce puffiness, it helped with muscle tension, lymphatic drainage and softened fine lines, leaving my skin visibly brighter and more receptive to product absorption.

The finale of my at home spa session was the lightweight yet deeply nourishing, Pro Glow Hydrating Gel-Cream, which gave me a just stepped out of the salon, long lasting, luminous radiance.

While we all know the importance of daily SPF, Skinwork Soho offers an array of hydrating delights to ensure your skin remains healthy, vibrant, and supercharged for when you need an extra boost.
