Penhaligon’s Peoneve

Penhaligons Peoneve Terrace at Harvey NicholsEnglish fragrance house, Penhaligon’s have launched new fragrance Peoneve, inspired by a blossoming English garden. In celebration of the launch of Penhaligon’s Peoneve, the quintessential English perfumers have unveiled an enchanting and colourful roof terrace at Harvey Nichols.

This summer, Penhaligon’s have launched a fresh and floral fragrance, which is light enough to wear all day and soft enough to wear all night. Peoneve Eau de Parfum (£85, 50ml £120, 100ml) is the soft floral fragrance is abundant with freshness of violet leaf and punchy floral notes of peony, Bulgarian rose and hedione whilst velvety warmth is added with notes of vetiver, musk and cashmere wood. Master Perfumer Olivier Cresp, renowned for developing fragrances such as Thierry Mugler’s Angel has captured the essence of peony using Nature Print® technology. This process facilitates the ability to preserve a single flower whilst the vetiver and Bulgarian rose are obtained using CO2 Extraction. This method ensures every drop of scent is captured from the ingredient.

This July, to celebrate the launch of Penhaligon’s Peoneve, the Fifth Floor Terrace at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge will be transformed into a multi-sensory garden. Reflective of the fragrance, the rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city will be filled with lush peonies archetypal English garden. Amongst the classic garden furniture and laser-cut insects, an eclectic Peoneve inspired cocktail and dessert menu is on offer with ingredients inspired by the notes within the fragrance. The Penhaligon’s Peony Punch features a blend of William’s gin with bespoke tea. Served in a five-litre Penhaligon’s perfume bottle, the punch is big enough to serve six. The Rose Garden features Kentish raspberries, fresh white peach, Naked Chase vodka and pressed apple juice all served over a frozen sphere of ice. To accompany your cocktail, indulge in White Chocolate and Peony Mousse or a refreshing Boozy Pops ice-lolly available in three flavours, The Posy, The Rhuberry and The Brambleflower.

Peoneve is available exclusively at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge from 16th July 2012 and then in Penhaligon’s boutiques, concessions and online from 13th August 2012 and is priced at £85, 50ml.
