Net-A-Porter.com Launches Beauty

Beauty at Net-a-Porter.com - red lipstickLuxury online fashion destination, Net-a-Porter.com expands with the launch of a brand new beauty department.

Net-a-Porter is the modern woman’s go-to store for high end, luxury fashion. From 20 March 2013, you’ll not only be able to purchase your Jimmy Choo’s and Stella McCartney at the store, but makeup essentials, luxury skincare and a whole host of beauty must-haves too.

“We are delighted to continue the expansion of the Net-a-Porter brand with the addition of beauty,” explains Alison Loehnis, Managing Director of the store. She adds, “We have already established ourselves as a truly global fashion destination and have a super sophisticated, discerning customer with an appetite for newness and the latest trends that extends beyond fashion.”

Net-a-Porter’s online magazine, The Edit already regularly features makeup and beauty, so adding this to the store too seems like a natural expansion. It’ll give customers the opportunity to buy into ‘whole’ looks, be it matching your nail polish to your clutch bag or finding the perfect lippy to offset that dress.

As expected an impressive brand list will be joining the Net-a-Porter beauty ranks, including big names from across makeup, skincare, fragrance and hair care. Tried and tested StyleNest favourites will be stocked including Chantecaille, Aesop and Philip B.

The initial department will be stocked with just 11 well chosen brands, but we’re predicting new lines to be added in the near future due to demand.

And as always, customer care is imperative to the Net brand. To ensure buyers are given the best possible advice and service, the Net customer care team have been attending master classes from the stocked beauty brands over the past year.

Beauty at Net-a-Porter.com will launch online on 20 March 2013.
