I’m not one to be swayed by celeb collaborations, and I’ve never tried the Beauty Bay eyeshadow palettes before (despite being a makeup obsessed makeup artist) but I was taken by the theme of Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall’s first cosmetics collaboration, based around her passion for crystals, spirituality and astrology – a girl after my own heart, and after getting a glimpse of the 42 pan (little) mix (sorry…) of mattes and metallics, I am now officially, swayed.

At first glance you could be forgiven for thinking that this is a palette for bold makeup lovers only, but I can assure you, this palette is the only one you need to create all the looks you desire! I have used nothing else since I got it; from a soft lavender, wedding guest look, using ‘Ethereal’, ‘Daydreamer’ and ‘Soul Mate’. To a 90s smoky bronzed look with ‘Halo’ and ‘Heritage’, and (my favourite) an Adele inspired clean & classic contoured eye using ‘Intention’ and ‘Nefertiti’ on the lid, and the blackest black ‘Tourmaline’ as my liner. Every eyeshadow in the palette is such a pleasure to use, creamy, blendible and long-lasting – it really has reignited my makeup mojo and just in time for party season! It is the perfect Christmas gift too – not least for yourself!
