Givenchy Beauty Holiday Makeup – The Mystic Glow Collection is a Toot or Boot Stop what you doing!!!

Stop what you doing!!! I mean stop what you doing because Givenchy Beauty just shut this **** down and dropped the Mystic Glow Collection for the holidays and y’all know it’s going to be limited edition! I am here to give you the low down on what products are in the collection how they fair and if they are Toot or Boot! I recently received the chance to go to the launch event with Givenchy Beauty was lucky enough to take home some of the collection and try it myself.

The collection consisted of a base/setting powder, 2 eye makeup, 2 lipsticks and a highlighter. Let’s start off with the base/setting powder, shall we? First, off the Prisme Libre No 5 Satin Blanc has been repackaged to become a part of their Mystic Glow Collection. I have to say that this is the first time trying products from Givenchy beauty make up wise and I am not disappointed with this product. The powder is finely milled and has a super soft texture that really gives you that soft matte finish as well slight glow because of the 4 different powder shades that seamlessly blends together to achieve the look of soft matte finish and radiance glow (yeah I know girl that was some advert jargon but that’s what the product description says). I’ve been using the powder for a couple weeks now and let me tell you something, I do not look cakey, the “facial grease” is under control so purely because of that reason, this product gets a TOOT from me.

Let’s get into the 2 eye makeup products which are the Dual Liner in No.1 Mystic Red and No.2 Mystic Gold. As the product and their namessuggest, its a 2 in 1 product, its an eyeshadow and eyeliner in 1. When I first saw how they look it instantly reminded me of the Laneige Two Tone Lip Bars that pretty much has a similar effect except the Givenchy Dual Liners are for the eyes. It very easy to use and that’s something I am hyped about but to tell you the truth, I’m not a fan of one of the Mystic Red shade because of the red only because a red liner is a bit garish and as much as I am the most EXTRA of a person, mystic red, she is not for me but mystic gold on the other hand girl yes please, she is my jam and I am living for the soft eyelid glow situation. The dual liners gets half TOOT (Mystic Gold) half BOOT (Mystic Red).

They repackaged 2 of the shades in the Le Rouge collection in gorgeous Lamé like leather bullets that just utterly fabulous. The shades they picked out for the holiday collection are Carmin Escarpin a bluish red & Grenat Initié a reddish burgundy. I only got the swatch these two lip products but I can safely say that the formula is very silky and glides on perfectly, it felt very hydrating and the pigment!! I live! there isn’t really much to say other than it’s a good lipstick. As I only swatched them, it’s only fair to give these a neutral mark, it’s neither a toot or a boot.

The last but certainly not the least is the Mystic Glow highlighter!!! So on the website, it says that it is a highlighting powder to adorn the face and eyes in a veil of ultra-fine mother-of-pearl with golden nuances. They are not joking! the packaging alone is lush and then we get to the actual product, girl when I swatched it I nearly fainted from the highlighting powers she was serving. I WAS SHOOKETH! Yes hunnie SHOOKETH, baring in mind that was just swatch and I applied on my face I was beaming and highlighted for the gods, I was glowing so good that you could see me in Mars (ok now that’s a bit of an exaggeration but y’all get the gist) I live for highlighters yall know that and this one is no exception. I legit highly recommend the Mystic Glow Highlighter to everyone. It’s so good that a Toot won’t do it justice that I’ve upgraded it to a SHOOT!

Overall the collection is amazing as a whole and there are a few individual products that I would use on a day to day basis which I already do and purely because of that the whole collection gets a TOOT. If you are interested in getting your hands on these goodies, then head on over to Debenhams and grab them before they go. Pricing wise given that it is Givenchy Beauty you’ll expect the price to be on the high-end side as you are paying for the name but it’s worth it.

I have listed the pricing below for your beautiful people.

Prime Libre – £42.50

Dual Liners – £26.00 each

Le Rouge Lipsticks – £31.00 each

Mystic Glow Highlighter – £34.50

That’s enough of me rambling! I spilt the tee on the Mystic Glow Collection enough, I’m gonna

go beat my face using these products now and serve the world Givenchy Glow Realness.

A xoxo
