Mac teams up with Brooke Shields to launch limited beauty icon collection.

Back in the 80s, long before the eyebrow trend that dominates the beauty pages now, that is worn by many a famous face, there was the original brow beauty, and her name was Brooke Shields. So famous was Brooke for her eyebrows that her mother reportedly wouldn’t let anyone touch them, however Brooke herself often comments that she doesn´t see the fascination with them. However here at StyleNest, like many others, we consider Brooke Shields, and her eyebrows, a beauty icon, and so we were thrilled to find out that she has now collaborated with MAC on a 15 piece limited edition make-up collection.

Everything is packaged in sleek, light grey casing with bright orange accents, with Brooke´s own signature embossed on each piece. Products have been chosen by Brooke herself to achieve that natural, all-American look, and the resulting collection is simple, fresh and modern. The range is very wearable, full of natural shades of creams, taupes and browns, with uplifting summer hues of sunshine oranges and bright corals. There is everything you need for both day and night, lipsticks, lipglasses, eye shadow compacts, including an impressive 15-strong eye shadow colour palette, blushers and bronzing powders, and nail polishes to finish the look, but here at StyleNest we of course can´t wait to get our hands on the brow set and veluxe brow liner, to try and achieve the same beautiful brows that Brooke is so famous for.
