This May Benefit Cosmetics launch their Bold is Beautiful Campaign in support of charities Refuge and Look Good Feel Better.
The campaign kicks off in style on Sunday May 8th with a charity run fronted by Campaign Ambassador Denise Van Outen. Covering a 4.5 mile route through London, there are checkpoints along the way enabling runners to pick up Benefit goodies worth £20, plus entertainment, activities and fantastic photo opportunities.
To enter the event, a minimum donation of £10 is required, with the entire amount going to your chosen Bold is Beautiful charity. With two extremely important charities in the running (pun intended), this is certainly a worthy beauty extravaganza to be part of.
Look Good Feel Better focuses on giving hair and beauty advice to women and teenagers undergoing cancer treatment. Aimed at addressing the visible side effects of cancer treatment, patients are taught ways to re-gain control during such an unstable time. The only international cancer support charity, LGFB works hard to empower women and provide an alternative source of strength and community.
Refuge is a domestic violence and domestic abuse charity, working with families at the heart of such terrible trauma. Recognising that every woman and child facing abuse has completely different needs, the charity provides a variety of services. These include; a helpline, nationwide refuge centres, child support workers, outreach services, culturally specific services and much, much more.
Allowing beauty fans the chance to get fit, meet a celebrity idol and support extra special causes, Bold is Beautiful shows the importance of inspiration and empowerment.
