The hair look at the Moschino Cheap & Chic A/W ’12 Show was playful and retro. Keeping in line with Moschino’s decision to show this season in London, the collection had an eclectic British feel with more than a hint of the ‘60s, with the hair and make-up reflecting this and adding a bit of fun. Val Garland for Mac swept Pink Pro Glitter over matte pink lipstick, and left eyes bare to keep the look modern.

For the hair, wide ribbon and leather bands in dusky pinks and lemons were twisted around large, messy beehives, which we will show you how to achieve. This is a real statement hairstyle perfect for Spring evening parties.

Top Tips:
1. The perfect base for this look is freshly washed and conditioned hair. Pantene Pro-V Aqua Light Shampoo and Conditioner works well for a light finish as it nourishes the hair without adding weight.
2. For hair stressed by Fashion-Week over styling, supplement your regime with a deep-treatment mask – try Pantene Intensive Nourishing Treatment on fine hair, or Pantene Deep Repair Masque for normal-to-thick hair. Apply through lengths and ends, wrap a warm towel around your head and leave on for just two minutes for effective results
3. Apply a mousse such as Pantene Volume and Body Mousse to damp hair, and blow dry the hair away from the face with a flat bristle brush.
4. Backcomb the hair at the sides, back and top of the head with a fine toothed comb for maximum volume and big impact. Spray with Pantene Volume and Body hairspray as you go to keep the volume and height in place. (leave a section of the hair free at the front of the head to frame the face).
5. Lightly brush back the top front section of hair over to the back of the head to create a smooth layer over the backcombed section.
6. Tie the smoothed hair at the nape of the neck into a ponytail, and roll the pony tail up into a dishevelled bun, fixing into place with hair pins. Spray with Pantene Volume and Body hairspray to hold style in place and pick out wisps of hair for a carefree look.
7. For the Moschino look, finish your style with a pastel headband, placed in the middle of the head, ‘60s style.
