Granola Bar with Tetley Super Green Berry Burst

Lee says “These recipes are reflective of some of the hottest food trends of the moment – from super-grains to street-foods. Each dish is simple to create and a delicious accompaniment to a cup of Tetley Tea.’’

Lee says: “Diners are becoming increasingly interested in the provenance of their food, often opting for local or at the very least British ingredients that can be tracked to source. These delicious Granola Bars can be packed full of whole foods including seasonal fruits, seeds and nuts, providing a healthy snack solution. Tetley’s Super Green Berry Burst, with its green tea base provides a variety of flavour sensations, including strawberry and raspberry that perfectly complement the Granola’s nutty base.”

What You’ll Need:

  • 60g dried apricots
  • 60g dried dates
  • 60g dried figs
  • 60g dried cranberries
  • 60g jumbo raisins
  • 30g pecan nuts
  • 30g pistachio nuts
  • 30g almonds
  • 30g pumpkin seeds
  • 30g sunflower seeds
  • 60g oats
  • 60g honey
  • 300g peanut butter
  • 100g butter

What To Do:

  • Melt the butter, honey and the peanut butter in a thick bottom pan
  • Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and stir through the melted peanut butter mix
  • Place into a lined shallow tray and place in the refrigerator overnight
  • Remove, slice and serve
