COVETABLE – KESTIN HARE STORK SHIRT

KestinI first discovered Kestin Hare in his previous role as creative director at Common People clothing; indeed my wardrobe remains well served with a number of their pieces.

With a background including head of design with Nigel Cabourn, Hare has used his pedigree and passion to up the ante with his eponymous label. In part the impetus was for greater autonomy, married to a desire to focus even more heavily on exceptional fabrics and design, made in the UK.

This Stork shirt, priced at £104 is part of the current SS15 range, The Bird Watchers, which showcases Hare’s vision, and attention to detail perfectly. A collaboration with Scottish print designer Silken Favours, the cotton shirt has a pen and ink illustration and the wooden buttons you’ll find on much of Hare’s shirting.

With a new London store opening imminently, his base in Edinburgh and listings in some of the world’s leading stores, it’s probably best to discover Kestin Hare as a new menswear staple now if you haven’t already.
