Described as the best “night in” night out, the cinema has extended its screening with new dates stretching until the middle of February.

You still don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day? Don’t panic! The Pillow Cinema, located in the former Shoreditch Underground Station, is the place to be. This is a unique opportunity since only this February London’s cosiest cinema is extending its screenings with two more weeks because of popular demand.

Forget chocolate and flowers, there is nothing that says I Love You more than spending that special day watching a good film curled up next to your significant other. That’s what Asher Charman, Founder of Pillow Cinema, had in mind when creating the project. ”We created Pillow Cinema as our tribute to cuddly film watching on a grand scale”, he said.

The selection from which couples can choose this Valentine’s Day are the rom-com classic When Harry Met Sally, the sweet and slightly bizarre Lars and the Real Girl and the haunting Swedish vampire film Let the Right One In.

Other movies that guests can enjoy throughout the month are the Oscar nominated film Boyhood (Feb 4^th), The Grand Budapast Hotel (Feb 5^th) and Finding Vivian Maier (Feb 1^st).

Unlike most cinemas, The Pillow Cinema offers its guests super comfy fatboy beanbags, which are perfect for two, and which can double as an ultra-luxurious seat for one. Visitors can also bring their own pillows, or hire some from the bar, for an extra cosy experience.

Tickets are on sale and priced at £20 per fatboy beanbag, which means it’s only £10 when shared between two people.
