What To Do:

  • In a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of hot water, melt together Flora Buttery, chocolate and golden syrup. Add in rice krispies and marshmallows a bit at a time until completely mixed through.
  • Spoon mixture into a shallow square cake tin or baking tray. Push down the mixture using the base of another cake tin or baking tray to make sure the surface is flat. Leave to set in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from fridge and cut into squares or rectangles.

To Make the monster

  • Make a green glace icing by mixing the icing sugar with a few drops of green food colouring, add more food colouring or a small amount of water until you get the colour and consistency you want.
  • Spoon the green icing onto rice krispies and smooth over. Before the icing sets, add the chocolate sprinkles to make your monster’s hair. Add two small white chocolate buttons for your eyes. Use the black icing to make pupils and a squiggly mouth.

TIPS: Have fun decorating with coloured fondants, melted chocolate and sweets to create some great creepy shapes such as pumpkins, spider’s webs and tombstones.
